Adults and children 12 years and older: two teaspoons every two hours.  For severe coughs, repeat every 20 minutes for first hour, then every two hours.

Children under 12:  Consult a doctor.

Uses:  Temporarily relieves coughs due to minor through and bronchial irritation with a cold or inhaled irritants. Soothes the throat.  Helps loosen phlegm (mucus) and thin bronchial secretions to rid the bronchial passageways of bothersome mucus and draining bronchial tubes.
